Clinical Psychology is the only medical specialty of Psychology recognized by the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality and endorsed by title by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport.

It deals with the study, explanation, promotion, prevention, evaluation, psychological treatment and rehabilitation of those psychological, behavioral and relational phenomena that affect the health of human beings in their overall conception.

Unlike a General Health Psychologist, Clinical psychologist makes a specialty nationwide system comparable to MIR doctors credited as Specialist in Clinical Psychology.

To achieve this specialty is a necessary condition to have obtained a place through annual national character selective call centers accredited teaching programs;

and have completed their training in compliance with favorable assessments the official program of the specialty, such as Royal Decree 183/2008 mark of 8 February, the provisions of Law 44/2003 which regulates the system of specialized medical training.

The training plan guarantees through their rotations through the various devices of the National Health System for four years of clinical practice, deepen the knowledge acquired

during previous training as a general psychologist, on the models, techniques and resources for the diagnosis, evaluation and psychological treatments of psychopathology and research in the different stages of the life cycle.

Throughout the residence accountability of direct patient care in a context of high supervision it is certified.

The patient care is included in a bio-psycho-social framework is an essential requirement coordination with other mental health professionals (psychiatrists, nurses, social workers ...).

I have worked in various public and private spheres both (Alcañiz Mental Health Unit, Virgen de las Nieves Hospital, Day Hospital Uribe-Kosta, T. Borda Hospital in Buenos Aires, Casa Familiar Dr. Juan Segura, Clivina Clinic Medical Center)

and in different areas (mental disorder, disability, behavioral problems, relational problems).

This career path highlights the approach and mental disorders and behavioral disorders from an integrative, holistic and tailored to customer needs perspective.

I made teaching and research activities with several national publications.

Currently I am the private practice of Clinical Psychology and performed ongoing training in psychotherapy and clinical psychopathology with the School of Mental Health AEN.
